  • Article 5 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights (prohibition of slavery and forced labour)

  • Chinese Labour Law (1995) and provisions under China’s 2021 Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), as it relates to employment and ethical governance

This statement outlines the steps taken by SAPP International and its affiliated entities to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our business operations and global supply chains.

Our main manufacturing facility has its own internal anti-slavery policy, regularly undergoes independent third-party audits, and embeds responsible practices into supplier evaluations and renewals.


Our Global Supply Chain

Our supply chain spans multiple continents and includes raw materials sourcing, component manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and on-site installations. This includes direct and indirect suppliers in:

  • China (main production and component supply)

  • Hong Kong & Shanghai (regional coordination and sourcing)

  • Australia (Client servicing, project delivery, warehousing, and installation)

  • United Kingdom and Europe (Client servicing, project delivery, warehousing, and installation)

  • United States (Client servicing, project delivery, warehousing, and installation)

We actively assess regional risks and maintain close communication with our partners to ensure ongoing compliance with anti-slavery obligations.


Due Diligence and Risk Management

To identify and mitigate the risk of modern slavery, we take the following steps:

  • Ethical assessment of all new and existing suppliers, with increased scrutiny for higher-risk regions

  • Review of supplier policies and certifications, including modern slavery declarations

  • Contractual requirements for compliance with anti-slavery laws and human rights standards

  • Site audits and supplier visits, conducted directly or via third-party auditors

  • Active oversight of our main manufacturing facility in China, with frequent contact from our Company Directors


Staff Training and Awareness

We provide internal training to relevant teams, particularly in procurement, operations, and senior management. This includes:

  • Guidance on identifying potential indicators of modern slavery

  • Whistleblowing procedures and escalation pathways

  • Ongoing updates to align with legislative and best practice developments


Reporting and Whistleblowing
